Explore how Service Design and Start-Up communities can work better together.
Service Design mentality and methodology seems relevant to many challenges faced by the start-ups, especially at the beginning of their journey: design based on user research, a holistic perspective on the user experience, a solid value proposition, prototyping, testing, iterating…
More and more designers start to work in and with start-ups, joint ventures or accelerator programs, yet service design still remains greatly unknown in this growing community.
In this event, Service Design Drinks Madrid brought together designers, founders and venture capitalists to talk about synergies between the two worlds and how might we work better together.
We were delighted to have with us our fantastic speakers:
Arancha Rodriguez: Ecosystem Builder at BBVA Open Innovation – a BBVA program of widely understood collaboration with fintech start-ups, and a service designer at Sopra Steria.
Carmen García Wang: Relationships Keeper from Qonsius, Madrid-based Venture Capital that develops and invests in ventures studios for positive social, financial and environmental impact.
Diana Lipcanu: Product Designer at Ontruck, a start-up providing solution for road transport of palletised goods.
Pablo Gil Torres: Head of Product and Design at 4AM – a Corporate Innovation & Venture Building practice by Ernst and Young (EY)
This event was held in English.
